  Very friendly! Love all of the local art work. It's nice to see that level of support in a community. Atmosphere is warm and cozy. A steady stream of people coming in to catch up over good food and brew. Love it!

  The menu and the local art makes Merlis unique. The dishes are well thought out, balanced and healthy without sacrificing flavour. Very laid-back vibe. Upscale food and ambience at value prices.

  Really dig this nifty cafe/coffee shop/pub/gallery place. It's hip, cool and funky. Great atmosphere and very pleasant staff. You can tell the staff love the area and are excited about it and promoting Essex county. A great place to stop in for a break when birding, antique hunting, before or after the beach, picking apples or whatever else brings you out to the county.
