  When I first arrived they put me in a site in an open field. When I did my reservation I asked for shade and full service (water, electric, sewer). Went back to the desk to indicate this and was moved to another site only to find that someone elses stuff was on the site already. Back to the desk again where the employee then said they don't have full service hookups in the park but this is very clearly stated on their website when you go to make a reservation. They finally got us onto a site that matched our request as closely as they could.

  As I had finished setting up my tent we see the manager with another male employee approach our camp and tell us we needed to move out tents. Apparently all though I had managed to find some shade for our tents under the trees I was not allowed to be there. I could park my car ubder the shade... but not place my tent there.

  Sad to say that after 4 years of camping here for Thanksgiving we will no longer be back. The new manager seems to be unsure on policies and cost therefore unable to properly train his staff. Visitors to our site would attempt to pay and be told by staff that they were unsure what the manager was doing so to come back later. The manager was rude when we addressed our concern with conflicting policies. The price for a Gator of wood varied by $10. The manager charged us $30 and later the employee charged us $20. Outside of the pool they are no longer family friendly. The game room is now adults only and the outdoor play area for young children is so old it is unsafe. No longer are the new washrooms properly cleaned nor stocked with paper towels. Anyone 16 and older have to pay 5$ a day to be there and or 10$ to stay the night no matter if they were immediate family or not. The only benefit to this campground is that the new manager allowed our group to position our 5 trailers in a circle as we have done in the past.

  On the positive side, their in-house food was quite good and they have decent decent washroom facilities and a salt water pool

  He continued to speak down to us in front of our kids to where my 8 yearold was upset crying. My sister and I just didn't want to take it anymore and asked to speak to the owner. We were told... 'good luck, as he is worse than the manager'. We then asked for a refund as who'd want to stay... the manager then said... 'you people want everything for free!' I would love to know what he meant by that... Was it the fact that he saw two women with their children... and assuming we don't have jobs or the fact that we are not white and he was regardless being blatantly ignorant. He finally decides to give us a return and continues to shout at my sister and I from the pool area as he did not have enough balls or respect to speak to us in an appropriate manner.

Family apparently no longer include my minor children over 16. No longer are the new washrooms properly cleaned nor stocked with paper towels.   He continued to shout at us because we mentioned that there was no markings. I told him that based on the map I was within my camp lot. The manager again shouting at me, said... 'this is not your lot!!!' I said... as long as I have paid; it is. And I am not doing anything wrong. We are looking for the shade.

  I also wasn't a fan of their communication. When I went to confirm my booking, I called the office and never got a return call. After sending a follow up email once again to confirm (after they sent me an email indicating a different price than what I paid) no one responded.

  I went to speak to the people in charge and I told them that it was not the site I had requested. I do not work there and I had provided as much detail as possible to get the same site as last year. The manager comes out being absolutely disrespectful; all because I had politely complained that it was the 3rd time I had been given the wrong site. Since we had already paid and we had driven 3 hours with the kids; we decided to get settled.

  My sister and I planned this trip for over a month and took our kids so they'd have a good last summer cramping trip all together. We get to the campgrounds and I was booked on a site I had not requested... It was not the first time this happened. I went back because I like the area being near Pelee bleach and other places.
